Convoy of Hope Heads to Southwest Fresno

The international non-profit organization Convoy of Hope brings their larger than life community services project to Edison Computech on Saturday. They'll be handing out 160,000 lbs. of food, in addition to providing health services, haircuts, a carnival, and employment services. Organizers say this could be the most volunteers they've had at an event, and that they'll be ready to serve an expected 15,000. If you're attending, coordinators ask that you take advantage of the free parking at Chukchansi Park, and take a shuttle to the event.

I was a recipient of today's event and thought it was awesome, i.e., the preparation, the volunteers, the churches participating, the enjoyment and education to the community, the weather, the hugh amount of food given to the people. A humanitarian love-in for all who came to Edison Computech today. God continue to bless Convoy for Hope and all its future endeavors.
