A historical vote in Washington tonight as the debatable health care bill finally garnered enough votes to pass. Lawmakers are calling it a huge victory for President Obama. Republicans are seeing it as an addition to the trillions of dollars of debt already alotted for by Medicare and Medicaid.

Finally- for all those who work hard pay all the bills and have to choose to buy food or health insurance. They take so much its about time that the people they take the most from can actually benefit.

I once had health care insurance, but because greedy CEO's and Doctors fraught and all kinds of rapeing the system on the highter level, my premiums would rise untill I no longer could afford it

If you hate helping other people, then don't, but let the rest of us who have a shred of compassion take care of the people who cant take care of themselves. Conservatives are really considering not helping other Americans when we already help everyone else in the whole world? How does that make any sense. At least the people who will benefit from this bill will be other Americans and not some foreign country we've never heard of...

Scott, sorry, they said the same thing about car insurance in CA. It went up, they said they had to insure everyone, includin bad drivers, so they had to charge everyone more. Just like they will do with "pre-existing conditions", if they pay more out, they will charge more, nothing is fee!

This is ludicrous. This country used to reward and respect those who worked hard and provided for themselves. Now everything we are trying to do is rewarding people for mediocrity at best. This makes me ill!!!!

Finally, health care for all! Since we've been paying for those who don't have coverage, this will drive rates down.

This proves that Congress does not listen to us. The majority of Americans do not want this bill.
