Gov. Signs Historic Water Bill

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger came to Central California today to sign a historic bill today.
The Governor stood in front of the Friant Dam and signed an $11 billion water bond bill.
It’s particularly important to Valley farmers on the west side who have been suffering through a water shortage crisis.
The multi-billion dollar bill provides funding to reform, and rebuilds the states water system.
There are projects for everything from conservation to water storage.
The water bond is dependent on voters who will vote on its final approval next year.
Immediate relief is on the way.
The Governor has extended an executive order to keep food distribution sites going through the winter months.
