911 tapes have been released in a shooting that happened last month in Fresno.
Fresno Police are calling it, suicide by cop.
On the tape, 38 year old John Cooper was recorded saying to 911 dispatchers that he would shoot the first officer he saw.
When officers arrived near Marks and Santa Ana, Cooper pointed what looked like a gun at the officers, who then opened fire, killing him.
It was later discovered that Coopers weapon was a fake.
Fresno Police say Cooper was the brother of a man found dead that week from a meth overdose.
