2 Shot in Clovis Officer Involved Shooting

The incident started Thursday morning, when Clovis Police received a call about a man with a gun. Officers arrived at the undisclosed location and the pursuit began. Police followed the suspect vehicle into northeast Fresno and then into southeast Fresno.

According to authorities, the suspect vehicle stopped at Thomas and Willow. A Clovis officer attempted to confront the two men in the vehicle and then for an unknown reason, the officer opened fire, shooting both men.

The unidentified men were rushed to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. The police officer was not injured.

Because the incident ended in a county island the Fresno County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.

Get a life people and stop judging. Put yourself in an officers uniform and go see the reality of what officers face. They have kids and family just like anyone else. To shoot and kill is one perspective but to shoot and protect is another. You will never know what that means unless you've bern in that situation. Go and find out what officers go thru after a shooting before u open your mouth. To all law enforcement. Be Safe and THANK YOU.

Here we go with the ignorant comments about the shooting! If you werent there then mind your buisness... I would like to see all these complainers become cops.... Wait they couldnt hack it that's why they arnt! You do not know the whole situation you werent there so dont be so quick to judge....
