Fresno State’s “Give A Gobbler” campaign delivered its first turkeys this morning.
102 turkeys were handed out to Fresno’s Community Food Bank and the Poverello House.
This is the third season for the program which gets bigger and more successful each year.
Donors buy a Fresno State grown frozen turkey for $25 which then goes to area families in need.
The goal for this year’s “Give a Gobbler” campaign is to get 200 donated turkeys.
If you would like to help, you can make a purchase at the Gibson Family Market just east of campus on the corner of Barstow and Chestnut.
They’re closed Wednesday through Friday, but will re-open next week from 9-6.
