The Fresno Grizzlies are recruiting their fans to support the ball club at Thursday’s city council meeting.
The Grizzlies management is calling on fans to basically influence the city to comply with the ball club’s request to lower their rent.
After months of closed door meeting, the consultant the city hired to handle the ordeal is scheduled to present his recommendations tomorrow.
In the Summer, Grizzlies ownership asked the city to lower its rent from around $1.5 million to just around $500,000.
After many closed door meetings, the city’s consultant is scheduled to lay out new terms for the arrangement at the council meeting Thursday.
The Grizzlies executive vice president, and general manager sent out an email to fans Tuesday asking them to show up at Thursday’s meeting to persuade council members.
