The public has one final chance to show its support for the Fresno Grizzlies.
City council members are expected to vote tonight on a proposal for the team’s stadium lease agreement.
Two weeks ago, the City of Fresno consultant Dan Barret outlined a proposal to city council members that will allow for the long term viability for the AAA Franchise.
The proposed term sheet is designed to protect the city’s investment in the stadium, an in downtown redevelopment.
The proposal also calls for the Grizzlies rent at Chukchansi Park to remain at $1.5 million.
Council member Mike Dages spoke with KSEE 24 News earlier in the day and tells us, there’s no choice but to support the agreement.
The council is expected to vote tonight on the proposed lease arrangement with the Fresno Grizzlies.

I suggest that everyone move away from here. You can't do worse. I surely don't want my children growing up in Fresno if we are not of concern to the city uppity ups. Make those layoffs a positive thing and look for employment somewhere else. Don't waste time, look for a new city to live in now. Fresno will be an eternal hole.

We shouldn't be worrying about revitalization of Fresno when we can't afford police and fire. We truly are the dumbest city in the US. Our mayor and council don't care about our safety. How can you revitalize when the crime is so high and everything is burning down. Hello bloody Fresno, again. Why can't you do your jobs and keep the the safety of the people of Fresno the number one priority. I'm moving!!!! See ya Fresno.

I say shut it down!! We cant afford police / fire personnel. I usually get season tickets but not this year...I was downtown yesterday and I saw a homless guy urinating on the county courthouse. That just about says it all..good luck downtown fresno, I'm done with you!!!!
