Deputies Arrest Suspect After Pursuit

The search for a suspect accused of shooting at a Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputy ended in crash Monday night.
Deputies spotted the suspect, Salvador Salazar, 26, near Caruthers after a carjacking.
They chased the suspect him for five miles, before forcing him to lose control and crash in an orchard.
Investigators say Salazar and another suspect shot at a Sheriff’s Deputy two weeks ago. The deputy was not injured.
