Eleven St. Bernard/Border Collie mixes were found in a dumpster in Selma. Selma Animal Shelter needs your help with foster care for these little puppies. They're 4 weeks old and are still bottle feeding! Fostering is so neccessary to saving the Valley's homeless animals. To learn how to help these puppies call Kim Collier at (559) 709-1105.

A batch of eleven 4 week old puppies were dropped off to the Selma Police Department yesterday after being found in a trash bin behind a market in Selma CA.
Animal Compassion Team (ACT) of California now has all 11 dumpster puppies! We will need to find homes for these adorable babies when they are 8 weeks old and have had their first set of vaccines. All dogs and cats adopted through ACT will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and dewormed.
Animal Compassion Team needs foster homes and donations of formula, newspapers, blankets, plastic pools, crates and x-pens to help us foster these puppies and more. ACT can always use monetary donations to help with medical costs for sick and injured animals. Contact us at info@animalcompassionteam.com for information on how you can help.

Selma Animal Shelter is in desperate need of funds for spay and neuter programs, animal care and improved housing. They are always in need of volunteers who are interested in helping at the shelter by assisting with transport to and from the vet's office, rescue organizations and to mobile adoption events.
For information please contact Kim Collier at program_coordinator@selmaanimalpack.org.
Background:
ACT is a new no-kill all animal rescue for the San Joaquin Valley and acts as a support for Valley shelters. ACT is non-discriminating of breed or species. We are the shelter for the little brown Chihuahua, Shepherd mix and black cat. We are ready and able to foster ducks, goats, donkeys, horses along with cats and dogs. Animal Compassion Team of California was founded in June 2009 by 10 like-minded animal loving volunteers. We submitted a 501c3 non-profit status application for approval in September 2009. We are not able to offer tax deductions at this time but will have the ability to do so shortly.
The Selma Animal Shelter is run by the City of Selma Police Department. Due to lack of funds, the shelter does not currently have regular hours of operation and therefore is not open to the public. There is a dedicated group of volunteers who work to make sure that every dog that comes through the shelter gates are returned to their owner, adopted, placed in a rescue or into a foster home. Our goal is that no dog is left behind and each dog finds a home where they will know what true love means.
