2 Killed in a Head On Collision

The California Highway Patrol and Madera County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a double fatal accident that occurred Saturday afternoon, near Avenue 12 and Road 32 in the Madera Ranchos.

Preliminary reports indicate that a truck swerved into oncoming traffic smashing into another vehicle head on.

The driver of the truck died as well as the driver of the second vehicle that was struck.

Names of the victims are not being released at this time.
