The first day if summer is Wednesday and it will be a little hotter than Tuesday as high pressure re-strengthens. Most valley spots will be pretty close to 100. The real weather story is what happens Thursday and into the weekend. A large amount of cool air pooled over the ocean will be forced into California by some low pressure systems moving across the Pacific Northwest. Expect stronger winds to return and temperatures dipping into the 80s this weekend.
