AJ's Forecast

June 27, 2012 Updated Jun 27, 2012 at 3:35 PM PDT

Sunny skies for the duration. Getting a little hotter Thursday. Strong high pressure is centered over Texas and Louisiana with low pressure systems over New England and in the Pacific near the Washington coast. This blocking high, also known as an "Omega Block" will control our forecast through the 4th of July at least. I only bring up the Omega Block to impress you with my weather vocabulary ;-). We could lose a couple of degrees this weekend, but it will stay in the 90s. At the same time, we should stay away from 100s even on the hottest days. All in all, a fairly normal pre-holiday weekend ahead of us. Watch KSEE 24 News for complete weather details.
