Strong high pressure is still going to make things hot for the valley through the end of the week. But we should start getting slightly cooler along the way. Highs will still be above 100, even near 105 in some areas. We should lose about a degree every couple days through the weekend. Early next week the temperatures will slip back into the 90s.
