High pressure is getting stronger which will be responsible for making it hotter in the Central Valley for the latter half of the week. Still looking for a couple of places to hit 100 on Friday. This weekend a cooling trend will begin. We will drop into the lower 90s at least. And if we're lucky, the upper 80s by the end of next week. Watch KSEE 24 News for complete weather details.
