Angry Over Missing Taco, Man Plows Truck Through Taco Bell

A man in Huber Heights, Ohio, became angry and damaged the front of a Taco Bell store after employees forgot to give him a soft taco he had ordered early Tuesday morning, May 29.

An Ohio man was is in jail for ramming his truck through the glass front of a Taco Bell restaurant after he realized his drive-thru order was one taco short.

Michael Smith, 23, then backed his truck out of the Taco Bell in Huber Heights and drove off — but his automobile was damaged in the incident and police were able to track him down by following a trail of motor fluid that led to his home.

Smith copped to making the battering-ram protest because “he did not get one of the tacos he ordered,” local police said in a press release. He was charged with felony vandalism.

"The damage he's done to the business is vandalism," Sgt. Chris Kash of the Huber Heights Police Department told NBC affiliate WDTN. "This is a brand new store. They just built this and opened it maybe six months ago."
