A suspect is now behind bars, accused of killing a valley high school football player.
The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Monday in front of an apartment complex at Ashlan and Marks in central Fresno. The victim has been identified as 18 year old Marquis Sutton. He was a football player at Edison High School.
Police say they arrived at the scene to find him lying on the sidewalk after being shot.
Today a memorial was set up outside the high school. Police have not yet identified the murder suspect. That information is expected to be released Tuesday afternoon.
