Porterville police arrested a man who threw a frying pan at his mother during an argument in their home.
Police say Alejandro Terminel threw the metal pan at his 64 year old mother, narrowly missing the woman but damaging kitchen cabinets.
The woman called police to report the incident but Terminel fled the scene before her arrival. He was arrested nearly 12 hours later when he returned to the home on Median Avenue.
Terminal was booked into the Tulare County Sheriff's Department and facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon among others.
