(BILLBOARD) A little over a month after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter, Jay-Z and Beyonce have finally released the first photos of their newborn daughter.
The images surfaced on Jay-Z's lifestyle blog, Life + Times, on Friday afternoon.
"We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. - The Carter Family" was released as a message to the couple's fans.
Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7; days later, Jay-Z released "Glory," a song dedicated to (and featuring) Blue Ivy that made the newborn the youngest artist to ever appear on the Hot 100.
