Fire crews continue to get the upper hand on a brush fire in Mariposa County.

So far over 1,600 acres have burned near the town of Hornitos. CAL FIRE officials say that the fire is now 75% contained. They gained major ground on the fire overnight. No structures are being threatened.

Officials say the fire started Tuesday after a bird flew into a power line.
