A 17 year old boy has died after colliding with a car near Coarsegold.
The collision happened this morning just after 10:30.
CHP says the boy was skateboarding downhill on Yosemite Springs Parkway, near Road 400, and rode directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Officers say the driver was unable to avoid the collision, and was not injured.
The boy died at the scene.
