CSU Fullerton Students on Modified Lockdown as Search Continues for 2 Men

Officers from North County SWAT team walking through the campus of California State University, Fullerton, where a search was on Wednesday night for a man thought to have hidden in a classroom building after a robbery and two related car chases.

(KNBC) Three men have been taken into custody following separate car chases and two men remain at large in Fullerton -- where a Cal State campus was on modified lockdown -- after a robbery led to a two separate high-speed pursuits Wednesday.

Langsdorf Hall and Mihaylo Hall have been placed on lockdown, California State University, Fullerton, Director of Media Relations Christopher Bugbee said. Previously on lockdown, College Park has been fully evacuated.

"CSUF students and employees: If you are inside a university building, we remain on lock-down. If you're outside, evacuate campus immediately," tweeted school officials shortly before 5:00 p.m.
