September 5, 2012 Updated Sep 5, 2012 at 3:47 PM PDT

Police and FBI agents are looking for a pair of men accused of kidnapping a southern California Bank of America manager on Tuesday night and then sending her into a bank branch Wednesday morning with a bomb strapped to her.

The woman showed up with a bomb (or something like it) strapped to her back and instructions to toss cash out the door of a bank branch in East Los Angeles around 8:30 am this morning, according to City News Service. The two suspects fled the scene in a Kia that may be white.

Sheriff's deputies managed to take the supposed bomb off the woman's back and detonate it around 9:45 am Wednesday morning. A local school was put on lockdown.
