California Homeowner Arrested for Shooting Intruder

Jerry Rasmussen, 60, fired at two people - killing one of them after finding them inside his Fair Oaks, California home.

60-year-old man has been arrested by police after taking matters into his own hands and shooting two intruders in his home - killing one of them.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s officials say Jerry Rasmussen of Fair Oaks was booked into Sacramento County jail Wednesday on suspicion of possessing prohibited ammunition and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The 60-year-old Rasmussen is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
