Search for Multi-Million Dollar Winner Ends

Five months after the winning ticket was sold and with only 25 days left to claim the prize, the California Lottery has finally found its mystery $23 million jackpot winner.

Her identity has not yet been released, but a news conference was scheduled for Friday.

A surveillance image was released as part of the lottery's search for its winner. On Thursday, lotto spokeswoman Ryann E. Petit-Frere confirmed that the winner was indeed the woman in the image.
