Car Lands In Fresno Water Canal

A man is fighting for his life after his car fell into a canal. It happened near the intersection of Belmont and Cornelia on Saturday afternoon.

A Saturn sedan landed in about a foot of water. California Highway Patrol says the car didn't stop at the intersection.

Officers say a Chevy truck smashed into the Saturn, sending it spinning into the canal.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
