An 18-month-old baby thrown out of an apartment window by her hysterical mother miraculously escaped injury after her grandfather, who was coincidentally walking by, managed to catch her.

Horrified neighbors in city of León, Spain, looked on as the 27-year-old woman chucked possessions out of her first-floor flat after suffering what they said was 'a complete loss of control'.

She then dangled her own daughter by her arms out of the window, which was 13 from the ground, and threatened to drop her.
