A 23-year-old Fresno woman remains in critical condition after being hit by a truck Thursday morning.

At around 8:00 a.m. near Clinton and Orchard a woman was walking her child to school when a pickup swerved to miss a stopped car on eastbound Clinton and struck her.

Police say she suffered major injuries, but the child is okay. The driver had no license and was cited. His vehicle has been impounded.
