The Frank H Ball warming center is open from 7pm to 7am. Approaching midnight on Monday, there were only 5 people taking advantage of it.

The City of Fresno opens the center to homeless people looking to stay warm from freezing temperatures. One man inside the center referred to it as a "blessing."

That same man believes more homeless people don't take advantage of it simply because theyre unaware of it. He says the staff and Fresno PD have been friendly and accomodating.

The Frank H Ball warming center isn't scheduled to re-open for the rest of the winter. City officials may reconsider if temperatures fall near freezing again.
