Conan O'Brien announced during his monologue Tuesday night that he wants to give Fresno a hand.
"Fresno needs a lot of cash fast. So I'm going to solve their money problems by giving them a tourist magnet. This thing just attracts tourists by the bucket-loads, they'll spend a lot of dough. This thing was a huge hit in Chicago, it always draws a crowd, I'm talking about the one-and-only Conan bobble-head! [cheers/applause]"
He goes on to say he's also offering to bring the Simon Cowel tight fitting t-shirt as a second tourist attraction. Mayor Swearengin wrote a letter to Conan Wednesday morning about his proposal. We'll have more on how the city plans to handle his offer on KSEE24 News at 6.
