Two arrests have been made in a fatal hit and run accident that happened early Wednesday morning.

A construction worker, 24-year-old Regan Johnson, was killed Wednesday morning on Highway 99 near Clinton. Just after 2:00 a.m., authorities say a driver veered into a lane that was closed for roadwork. The driver just kept going after hitting her.

At about 9:45 a.m., the car believed to be involved in the accident was found under a tarp and two arrests were made. Those involved are facing possible hit and run charges.
