A Baltimore area woman has been indicted on manslaughter charges in the death of her 91-year-old mother, who died in January.
Police said Sharon Caslow left her mother, Audrey, on a toilet in their home for two days in mid-January. Baltimore County medical workers said they discovered the elderly woman on the toilet.
Investigators said Caslow told officers she knew her mother had been in the bathroom but didn't call anyone to help her. Audrey Caslow was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center and then transferred to a hospice, where she died 10 days later.
An autopsy revealed she died from acute renal failure.
Caslow is currently out of jail on $100,000 bail.
