Deputies Searching for Robbery Suspects

(Press Release) Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred late last month.

On August 25th, two suspects entered the Valentine Market, located at 1414 South Valentine Avenue, and robbed the store owner at gunpoint.

After entering the store, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim while the second suspect walked behind the counter and demanded money from the register. The suspects fled with a large amount of cash and the victim’s wallet.

Video surveillance captured images of both suspects.

The first suspect was described as a black man in his mid-30’s, 6' 0" tall, weighing 180 pounds, and clean shaven. He was wearing a white colored long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a red ball cap.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-30’s, 5' 5" tall, weighing 130 pounds. He was wearing a blue 7 black pullover jacket, blue jeans, and blue ball cap.

Both suspects fled in a late 90’s Chevy SUV.
