A new 'magic' wristband unveiled by Walt Disney World this week promises to revolutionize a family's trip to the theme park.
The digital devices, disguised as simple rubber bracelets can give customers entry to the park, pay for sodas and Mikey Mouse ears, open their hotel rooms and even help save their place in line.
MyMagic+ could also be used to make the park fully interactive - piping a child's name or birthday straight into the earpiece worn by Cinderella or Minnie Mouse - letting costumed Disney employees give children personal greetings.
It's unknown yet whether this will spell the end of waiting for hours in line at Space Mountain - but Disney executives are hoping it could help.
The bracelets will also transmit a host of information - allowing the park to monitor their patrons in real time and analyze their every move and purchase.
That notion has left some Disney fans feelings a little uncomfortable - knowing the Big Brother Walt could be watching at all times.
