Drug charges have officially been filed against a Selma police officer and former officer.
Alexandria, Virginia police have charged Frederick Sayles, Gabriel Sepeda and David Flowers following an undercover narcotics operation.
The three were arrested last week.
Sayles is a Selma police officer and Sepeda is a former officer of the Selma Police Department.
Authorities say the men were in the process of transporting more than 27 pounds of marijuana into Virginia from California.
