Republican, Democrats, and non-partisan officials are in overdrive preparing for Tuesday's election. Both major parties are feeling confident, but people at the Fresno County Clerk's office said it's taken them until the last minute to make their final decisions.

About a dozen volunteers worked a phone bank at a Republican office on Shaw avenue in Fresno. Organizers say there's a renewed excitement about the Romney campaign.

Democratic organizers say their challenge is maintaining the enthusiasm for Obama that secured him victory in 2008. They say their getting fewer volunteers than in the last election.

Both parties paint clear differences in their policy agendas. The latest polling shows there could be a lot of close contests.

A Fresno voting official said they're expecting high voter turnout. There will be twice as many polling places open as there were in 2010. Still, it could be several day before final votes are tallied.
