After celebratory low passes over Tucson, Houston and other points to the east, NASA's retired space shuttle Endeavour arrived on its final flight here today, swooping over the state Capitol as part of an aerial tour.

Thousands watched Friday from nearby rooftop buildings and along a bridge as the shuttle, strapped to the back of a modified jumbo jet, circled the Los Angeles area. Crowds also lined dozens of piers in San Francisco to get a glimpse of the shuttle.

In the valley, viewers didn't get quite the same glimpse of the famed space ship, but folks were no less excited about the opportunity to witness history as it flew by.

We have a few photos sent in from viewers across the valley and state. Take a look and let us know what you think -- and if you'd like to share any pictures you might have, send them to newsdesk@ksee.com
