(KPRC) Texas authorities are investigating a shootout allegedly sparked by an argument over ownership of a tractor.

Brazoria County sheriff's deputies said Jonathan Luntz, 42, and William Moore, 51, started arguing about 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said one man pulled out a revolver, the other pulled out a semiautomatic weapon and shots were exchanged.

Both men were wounded and were taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

Detectives said Moore is the father of Luntz's girlfriend.
