An Edison football player who was shot and killed will be remembered Friday night on the field.
Marquis Sutton died Monday from a gunshot wound. The alleged shooter, Terrence Lee, was in court Friday morning and plead not guilty.
Sutton's mother Sherri Wise was at Mountainview Cemetery to find a final burial place for her son. Meanwhile Sutton will be honored with a moment of silence. Clovis West High School will also present a check and a bouquet of flowers to the family.
The funeral is scheduled for Thursday.
