Former Tulare County Sheriff's Deputy Found Guilty of Child Molestation

On October 31, 2012, in the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, a jury of 12 reached unanimous verdicts in the People vs.
Michael Risenhoover.

The jury trial began on October 23rd. The jury found 34 year old Michael Risenhoover, a former Tulare County Sheriff*s Deputy, guilty of 6 count of child molest, 2 counts of forcible child molest, and 2 counts of sexual intercourse with a child 10 and under.

The jury also found true the special allegation that he had substantial sexual conduct with a child under 14.

Sentencing is set for November 27, 2012. The defendant faces up to 84 years to life at sentencing.
