Four Gang Members Arrested on Weapons Violations

Fresno police arrested four known gang members on Monday for weapons violations.

Northside Bulldog gang members Emerson Gaitan, 20, and Valdemar Gaitan were arrested after search warrants were served at a home on the 4100 block of N. Carnegie in west Fresno.

Found during the search at the residence were a handgun along with more than 300 rounds of ammunition. Both of the men were arrested at the home.

A search warrant also served at a home in the 5600 block of W. Richert in west Fresno. At this location two rifles and more than 400 rounds of ammunition were recovered.

DTK (Down Town Killers) tagger Ryan Diaz, 18, and Northside Bulldog James Romero, 47, were arrested at the location and booked into Fresno County Jail. Both Diaz and Romero were charged with ex-felon in possession of ammunition.

Diaz had also been arrested on July 4th 2012 for ex-felon in possession of a firearm and brandishing a firearm at a police officer, but was released due to overcrowding on 7-5-12.
