Fresno County Sheriff's deputies have a home surrounded where they say a suspect in the abduction of a 10-year old girl is holed up. Fresno County Swat officers received information that Calvin Michael Cardenas was at a home at Gettysburg and Winery after deputies served a search warrant at an apartment complex at Cedar and Shaw.
Deputies say they found the car believed used in the abduction at the apartment complex in northeast Fresno.
Investigators say Cardenas is wanted in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of the 10-year old girl who was taken yesterday morning as she was walking her bike to school in the area of Jackson and Gettysburg. She was found yesterday afternoon, wandering alone with her hands tied, west of Kerman near Mendota.
