Fresno Gang Member Arrested in Madera County

(Press Release) A self-admitted Fresno Bulldog gang member wanted in Madera County has been captured.

42-year-old Michael James Prendez was arrested Monday night in Fresno by Fresno Police. The fugitive was pulled over at Clinton & Marks at around 11:00 p.m. Officers found a $25,000 warrant issued for his arrest out of Madera County.

Prendez was wanted for passing fictitious checks at the Family Food Center in Madera. He’s accused of cashing a series of checks totaling more than $1,400.

Prendez was turned over to Madera County Sheriff’s Deputies who transported him to Madera County Department of Corrections.

The Fresno County native remains behind bars booked on the $25,000 warrant – charges include: Three counts of passing a fictitious check and two counts of burglary.
