While investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday night in the 2700 block of South Bardell Avenue, detectives found evidence resulting in two search warrants. Officers of the Violent Crimes Impact Team visited the two Fresno residences named in the warrants on Wednesday where they found ammunition and four firearms inside.

One of the firearms was identified as being stolen from a 1994 Merced PD case. Eighteen year old Kelly Reaves was arrested for possession of the stolen weapon, and booked into the Fresno County Jail.

The Fresno Police Department is still investigating the July 12th shooting on Bardell. Anyone with information is asked to contact Fresno Police Department Street Violence Section Felony Assault Detectives Conrado Martin (559) 621-2421 or Ignacio Ruiz (559) 621-2432.

Citizens with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP. As always, citizens who provide information will remain anonymous and may receive a reward of up to $1000.
