The Fresno Police Department has released it's annual report.

Highlighting the report, violent crime fell 4% in 2011, but burglaries spiked 9%. In total homicides, rape, robbery, assaults, and arson dropped last year. But auto theft, larceny, and burglary cases went up.

The chief says he's happy with the results, considering the troubling economy, fewer resources, and early inmate releases.
