Police arrested a woman accused of a weekend double shooting in Fresno.

Lisa Alarcon was taken into custody this morning at a home on A Street and Inyo. She's accused of shooting her parents, who were sleeping inside their Belmont Avenue home.

Police say Alarcon fired shots into their bedroom from a window. The victims suffered gunshot wounds to their legs.

Police say it took several hours to take Alarcon into custody. "We set up a perimeter around the house. Within a few hours, we made contact with the suspect inside and she willingly gave herself up and was taken into custody," said Glen Schafer of the Fresno Police Department.

Police say there were children in the home but no one was hurt.

Alarcon is being charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
