(Press Release) Tuesday afternoon at about 1:30 p.m., Fresno Police detectives arrested 19-year-old Nathan Siqueiros for grand theft and robbery. According to police, Siqueiros sought out victims selling cell phones on Craigslist and then would arrange a meeting to steal the victim’s property. After meeting with his victims, he either simulated a weapon or grabbed the phone from the victims after they arrived with their property.

Detectives were able to identify Siqueiros by tracking the phone he used to call his victims. After learning his identity, he was found at his home where he was taken into custody and booked into the Fresno County Jail for grand theft and robbery.

Siqueiros admitted to both thefts and selling the phones to unknown buyers.

Remember to be cautious and stay alert when buying or selling property on the internet. Anyone with further information about this crime is asked to call Detective Kirkorian at (559) 621-6336.
