A fast moving grass fire burned several acres near Easton in Fresno County.

The fire began shortly after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon east of Highway 41 near Jefferson Avenue. It destroyed two outbuildings and spread towards an abandoned home. Firefighters say wind and heat contributed to the fire. The cause is under investigation.
