The Fresno Grizzlies wrapped up its season Monday. The fifth winning season in franchise history. But the team's fiscal woes cast a shadow on that success.
Attendance has been down this year. It's no secret the Grizzlies were short on rent last month. The Chukchansi tribe came in and gave an advance for $350,000. We talked with public relations manager Chris Kutz. He wanted to stress that the team is here to stay and Fresno is its home.
"Chukchansi being the good partner that it is they stepped up and provided an advance and it helped. It helps because cash flow isn't there in January as it is in July," said Chris Kutz.
The San Francisco Giants just extended its player development contract with the Grizzlies for two more years.
