Heat Wave Set to Sweep the Valley

The National Weather service is issuing an excessive heat watch for the Central Valley. The advisory runs through the weekend.

Officials are encouraging everyone to stay indoors when they can. PG&E is opening up cooling centers to make that easier.

Temperatures are expected to get even hotter through the weekend.
